Connection and eligibility

Robinhood Agentic Trading uses a separate OAuth connection to Robinhood's Agentic trading service. Only accounts Robinhood marks eligible for Agentic access are returned. Read connections support reporting; placing orders requires a read & trade connection and the applicable SnapTrade trading permissions. Institution and partner enablement also apply.

History and connection caveats

Order history is paginated with no fixed day or record cap imposed by this adapter. Available history remains controlled by Robinhood; account-open coverage is not established. OAuth token refresh is implemented, but a typical reconnection interval and a numeric broker rate limit are not established from the code. Expected Connection Duration is intentionally unspecified.

Instrument catalog ingestion is currently crypto-only and requires an enabled connection. Ticker, fractional support and tradability metadata are parsed; equity catalog search is not implemented. Canonical symbol resolution is not guaranteed for every pair.

Equity placement uses a stable broker reference for retries of a logical order. Reusing a caller-supplied client_order_id requires SnapTrade's client-order-ID feature to be enabled for the connection. Fresh requests with different references are separate orders.

Difference from Robinhood

The existing Robinhood connection uses the broader Robinhood reporting/FDX flow. Robinhood Agentic Trading is a separate consent and connection for eligible Agentic accounts and trading; an existing Robinhood reporting connection does not automatically gain Agentic trading permissions. Agentic does not replace the existing integration's broader account and transaction reporting or tax lots. Use the existing Robinhood connection for that reporting coverage and connect Robinhood Agentic Trading separately when Agentic trading is needed.
