When generating the key on the Kraken website, the user needs to preferably select all permissions. Keys can be generated from the following URL: https://pro.kraken.com/app/settings/api
For an initial connection to “Query” must be checked under “Funds permissions”.
To access the user’s history, such as filled orders “Query ledgers” need to be selected. If these permissions are not granted, the SnapTrade /orders and /activities endpoint will return a 403.
Permissions must look similar to this. It’s especially important to make sure IP address restriction, Key expiration and query start and end dates are set to “Off” (default).
